Consignment entry apparently slow

Consignment entry appears slow yet the program seems to be running normally.

Check the Local Parameters and look for the SKIP TWAIN option. TWAIN scanning may be enabled but no scanner is attached.

As the screen loads if you say you have a scanner then it loads the driver as the screen opens. If you don't have a scanner then it has to first search for one and only when it cannot locate one can it continue.
